Our GuideStar Nonprofit Profiles are now structured by the GSPS, and it is used to determine an organization’s qualifications for a GuideStar Seal of Transparency. Nonprofits can earn Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum Seals of Transparency depending on the amount of information they share. Enter: the Silver Seal of Transparency. GuideStar asks for basic financial information, such as your total revenue, total expenses, and assets and liabilities, so that the millions of folks visiting www.guidestar.org will know you’re a financially responsible organization. The Silver Seal of Transparency focuses on financial data. To earn the Silver Seal, you must also complete the Bronze Seal requirements. Access The Silver Section. Sign in to guidestar.org or register. Click Update Nonprofit Profile at the top of the home page. Click on the Actions button, then click on Edit. A Seal of Transparency appears on an organization’s Nonprofit Profile on GuideStar when the organization has publicly shared important information about its work.
